The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, and efficient financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Supervise billing, invoicing, and collections.
• Manage vendor payments and client receivables.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure timely settlements.

3. Compliance & Auditing:

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• File tax returns and manage withholding taxes and other statutory payments.

4. Cash Flow & Banking:

• Monitor cash flow and manage bank transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and handle banking relationships.

5. Team Supervision:

• Lead and train the accounting team.
• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and provide guidance.

6. ERP & Software Management:

• Maintain accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
• Ensure proper data entry and record-keeping.

7. Strategic Support:

• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Assist management in financial planning and cost control.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CMA) is a plus.
