Responsibilities

• Development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services.


• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code


• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code


• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application


• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs


• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


• Work along-side other engineers working on different layers of the infrastructure.


• Collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Skills

• Objective-C


• Object-Oriented Programming with Objective-C


• Experience in developing UIs for different screen dimensions


• Good understanding of Creating/Consuming Web Services


• Solid understanding of Web Service standards (JSON, REST, etc).


• Xcode IDE


• Core Data


• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines


• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred


• Knack for benchmarking and optimization


• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN)


• Architecture Patterns, Design Patterns, OOP concepts, Database (Sqlite/ Core data) concepts.


• Good Organizational and problem-solving skills


• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning


• Quick learner and exceptional system understanding
