POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent will be expected to:

• Develop and Implement Production Plan in coordination with Marketing Department and Inventory Department; 

• Should be a True first-level Manager; 

• Ensure that core processing goals and department milestones are met within approved / agreed Targets; 

• Have full authority for personnel actions; Expansive knowledge of Production Processes and Management of specialized Workers/Teams and manufacturing cycles requiring continuous monitoring and re-aligning for quality production within time deadlines; 

• Achieve and improve the Standard Processing Time (SPT) of the Production-line with quality bar of zero error 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Develop and Implement Company Production Policy & Procedures:

Manage and direct the Production Teams and capitalize on potential new methods & procedures; Develop and implement Best Standard Production techniques. 

2.     Oversee Performance:

Oversee Processing and remove impediments to smooth efficient processing, analyze errors to find root causes and re-engineer to maintain maximum productivity; Find new ways and techniques to optimize inputs and enhance output with minimum overheads.

3.     Respond to Product Complaints:

Finding root-cause through Complaint Analysis exploring change of methods and realigning to avoid errors, omissions or oversight; suggest improvements in production,, product quality and efficiency in Supply to order.

4.     Typically report to Country Manager:

Coordinate with Country Manager, GM Sales & Marketing, and other related departments and units to achieve best results.

REPORTING SKILLS:

Maintain Production Logs for reporting and graphic record of SPT and report when required.

• Computer skills – computer proficiency is required since central Inventory & Warehouse data dashboard software has been implemented for active use.

• Leadership – Factory Manager shall manage various Production Units / Warehousing arrangements and Teams / Inventory Officers / Workers / Helpers; arrange staff training where required, guide, mentor, coach and counsel.

• Communication – Production Manager shall use good verbal as well as written communication skills to collaborate with QC Team, research and development team, and written communication skills to help write detailed production plans & reports.

• Multi-tasking – Production Manager shall work on many projects at once, strong multi-tasking skills are essential.

• Organization – to manage maximum lines of all products and lead multiple teams of workers in the Production Hall environment requiring organizational skills.

OTHER SKILLS

Knowledge of Mobile Phone Accessories of various brands and products as well as knowledge of Stocks Warehousing techniques and Inventory control.
