Requirements

·         Experience:              Experience should not be less than 2 Years.                                     Experience preferred of Medical Furniture                                       manufacturing and steel fabrication Industry.

Job brief

Associate Purchaser are involved in the purchasing of materials that are either used in the production of goods or for the consumption of the organization itself. Associate purchaser assist in the purchasing and disbursement of materials. A lot of tasks go hand in hand with the procurement of materials. When not buying the materials, an associate buyer is busy in researching for substitutes for existing materials used by the organization. He will also be engaged in meeting and communicating with new vendors to analyze the differences in price offered by different vendors. This saves a great deal of money spent in procurement of materials.

Responsibilities

• ·         Knowledge of procurement techniques as well as                     dexterity in “reading” the market
• ·         Talent in negotiations and networking
• ·         Good knowledge of supplier
• ·         Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• ·         Experience in collecting and analyzing data 
• ·         Initiating & escalating purchases.
• ·         Participates in the selection of suppliers based on a                criteria and conducting a comparative analysis on                     supplier    prices
• ·         Market Visits to get information to proceed purchase              activities
• ·         Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and         supporting documents to supplier.
• ·         Coordination with Store/Inventory Factory Departments
• ·         Any duties assigned by seniors.
