SalTec Powerlink invites application for the position of Senior Software Engineer for its Karachi Office.

Ideal candidate for this position would be responsible to:

• Develop, modify and integrate code and its design. Also develop code that involves Mathematical logic
• Identify & communicate technical problems, processes and recommend there solutions
• Assist in information gathering phase of application development
• Support in the development of logical and physical specifications
• Support in designing phase of software which also involves web-pages as well as database
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solutions, development and propose solutions
• Document& demonstrate solutions by developing documentations, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Provide testing criteria with different test cases
• Provide QA document

Required Skills:

• Experience in .NET Technologies (VB .NET, C#, ASP.NET)
• Strong skills in SQL Server 2005/ 2008, SQL, Store procedures and object oriented programming
• Candidate should have working experience on CSS and HTML application
• Should have hands on experience in optimizing data structure of application
• Strong knowledge of mobile application development
• Candidate must have strong knowledge of Java scripting & Ajax
• Good understanding of J-queries
• Candidate must have strong technical skills, specifically in web application development
• Good understanding of design patterns, quality assurance and version controlling
• Web applications development, N-tier and web services using Microsoft .NET
• Good skills of developing reports and analytical tools
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as coding practices, code reviews, source control & unit
• Must have problem solving capability along with productive in terms of delivering project
• Should have capability of self work review along with ability of writing optimize code
• Should be able to develop use case analysis and managing tasks of its own along with junior team members
• Should be able to solve complex software design issues
• Develop and enhance software applications solutions that leverage the most recent technology to drive business results
• Development of User Controls, UI inheritance and use of third party UI controls. Experience with WPF and WCF is also very desirable
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT and related technologies
• The right person must be a fast learner, able to work in a fast paced environment and have a "get the job done" outlook
