We are a multinational web development company seeking an in-house, full time “PHP Web Developer” to assist with the creation and maintenance of stable, secure and scalable websites capable of handling high-volume traffic. We are looking for someone to be a part of the continued growth of our company.

Responsibilities Writing standards compliant PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery Ensuring cross-browser compatibility Mobile web development Website and database API design, architecture and integration Integration of merchant provider API's (PayPal, Moneris, etc.) MySQL, Redis and/or relational database fundamentals working within MVC frameworks (i.e. Laravel, CodeIgniter, Cake etc.) Server side application development & web services Troubleshooting & bug fixes Website SEO optimization and security

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years related experience Strong knowledge of PHP (OOP) Experience with MySQL, Redis Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery Experience in building scalable websites to handle high volumes of traffic Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) Ability to deal with constantly changing priorities and requirements.
