Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Produce detailed specifications
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mobile development experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
• Expert level proficiency in Objective C and Cocoa Touch.
• Experience working with UIKit, AFNetworking, Core Data, Storyboards, Autolayouts, Push Notification, Core Graphics.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Fluency in Swift will be a definite advantage.
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools, such as Instruments.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

General:

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Flexible thinker - Don’t get too attached to a particular solution—things change quickly around here.
• Detail oriented - Whole is the sum of the parts.
