Job Description:

• Manage systems and databases for Signal monitoring tools especially probe based solutions.
• Perform regular health checks to ensure database and process flows are as per design requirements.
• Plan the expansion of signaling analysis solutions.
• Perform first level of support and debugging for an on-site or remote site issues in data acquisition, mediation and visualization.
• Manage statistics and KPIs of the Core Network as per requirement.
• Manage rollout while ensuring end to end results and data availability and consistency.
• Troubleshoot/Rectify data/network related issues in coordination with other departments.
• Perform Engineering parameters and Call process flows analyses and audits along with other teams.
• Ensure availability and retention of KPIs for long trend analysis.
• Liaison with vendor and other internal departments for issues/queries.
• Data Acquisition through tapping for Core Network NEs.
• Perform advanced debugging of OS related issues on Linux and Windows.
• Re-installation and configuration of Server and Client nodes while ensuring rapid Disaster Recovery Procedures.
• Plan for future disaster recovery mechanisms in order to ensure high reliability and availability architecture.
• Ensure swift recovery of lost data through data recovery procedures.
• Provide remote and On-site support for Architecture changes and Maintenance. Report statistics and KPIs of the Core Network.
• Verification of work and operations by vendor on-site requires basics of system administration
• and power electronics.

• In-depth knowledge of call flows in 3GPP procedures.
• Sound Understanding of telecommunication protocols like TCP/UDP, SCTP, BSSAP, BSSGP, MAP,INAP, GTP, TCAP, Sigtran etc.
• Sound Understanding of International Roaming.
• Sound understanding of process flows designed for capturing and mediation of signaling traffic over 3GPP interfaces like A and IuCS/IuPS.
• In depth Good knowledge of core KPI Theory, and signaling procedures.

Desirable Skills:

• Hands on experience of Packet Switch Core Network or Huawei R-4/ATCA MSCs. Experience of
• IN/VAS/STP, probe based monitoring solutions and SQL (databases).
• Hands on experience of GSM, VOIP, GPRS, Computer Programming skills including PHP, Jquery, .NET,JAVA, MySQL, PostgreSQL, bash, python, C++ debugging.
• Hands on experienced in Linux application modules, SQL databases and management, OS (Windows, Linux) administration, Cisco Networking and configurations related to monitoring and scheduling of tasks.
• Excellent business communication skills.
