| Job Description: |
| The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering).
- Have 1 2 Years of relevant work experience.
- Specialization in the area of IN VAS, preferably Ericsson IN and Huawei VAS Platforms
Job Description
- Customer complaints handling for INVAS , including Ericsson IN, Huawei VAS platforms (MFS, EVC, CRBT, SMSC, MMSC, Antispam, VMSMCA, ICS) and Huawei PS Core.
- Carry out corrective maintenance tasks including emergency handling, alarm handling, Faulty hardware replacement.
- First level troubleshooting of issues and coordination with Level-2 for issues resolution
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks including System health checks of INVAS NEs and maintaining all system backups.
- Work Orders implementation including service provisioning on platform and carrying out night activities.
- Generate statistical reports and conduct analysis for INVAS KPIs.
- Perform Testing for INVAS services. Also GPRS IR-35 testing with Roaming partners.
- Coordination for INVAS projects during site surveys, installation, commissioning, integration and ATPs.
Essential Skills
- Should be able to perform shifts duty (Morning, Evening, Night).
- Hands on experience of Ericsson IN, Huawei SMSC, CRBT, EVC and Huawei PS Core.
- Knowledge of IP, SS7 and analyze relevant traces.
- Strong knowledge of IN, VAS (SMSC, CRBT, EVC, MFS), PS Call flows.
- Comprehensive understanding of Unix, Solaris and Linux, scripting and troubleshooting.
Desirable Skills
- Reporting and Statistical analysis skills.
- Be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
