Develop and maintain web sites for ALM and its member companies’ internet presence in line with ALM strategic plan, vision, mission, values goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Designing responsive, mobile-first and SEO friendly WordPress
• themes.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and

PHP

• Preparing email newsletters.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting WordPress performance tests.
• Troubleshooting WordPress issues.
• Stay up to date with new web technologies and updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any IT or any other related field.
• Certification in Web Development and Designing is a plus

Experience

• 3 to 4 years of extensive web design and front-end development experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Designing and developing WordPress websites and other PHP based

CMS frameworks.

• Responsive design/dev practices for mobile and desktop.
• Front-end Development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery,

Bootstrap).

• Good knowledge and skills in Photoshop / Illustrator required.
• Ability to convert layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages 

and into WordPress themes.

• Solid understanding of PHP is preferred.
• Experience with gathering data via APIs, knowledge of JSON, XML,

MySQL preferred.

• Excellent graphic design skills.
• Web analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, GWT, etc.).
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome

inspector, etc.

• Well understanding of SEO
