| Job Description: |
Virtual Force is searching for experienced and passionate Python developers.
- must have proven experience in TypeScript development and should be extremely well-versed in Python.
Responsibilities:
- Software development of new and existing products through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Work mostly in TypeScript as a full stack developer.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing products and systems.
- Develop application designs that are secure, performant, scalable, fault tolerant, and testable.
- Utilize analytical, process and/or technical skills to meet product objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within products scope.
- Work within a cross-functional team to develop enhancements in a highly iterative fashion.
- Involve in close collaboration with product developers and testers.
- Communicate product issues and/or risks in a timely manner.
- Can use best practices for efficient coding
Requirements:
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript
- 3-5 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Experience/Strong Knowledge in Django/Python
- Experience in Docker
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge about Web Application Security
- Experience/Knowledge in React, JS/JQuery/CSS(SASS)/HTML (to cover new & legacy codes)
- Basic Knowledge about SQL
- Experience with Git
Good to have
- Experience using Stripe or related payment API integration
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Django Channels
- Understanding / Experience of Time zone sensitive scheduling
- Experience with NGINX
- Experience with Shibboleth or related SSO (Single Sign On)
- Experience with write/review security document for SASS product. (Have experience with or know about HECVAT or CAIQ)
- Good communication skill and guiding/leading the engineers
- Experience with Github Actions/Packages, AWS Code Deployment.
- Experience with any the following: AWS EC2, WAF, RDS, Route52, ALB, VPC, ElasticCache, CloudFront, CloudWatch
- Experience with setting up VPN and internal staging environment with AWS.
- Knowledge/Experience with AI/Machine Learning/Data Analysis
- Experience with monitoring tool such as Sentry.io
