| Job Description: |
- Working on the design of building systems for commercial, institutional, high-rise residential, and industrial projects.
- Will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors in HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems.
- Tasks will include creating mechanical system schematics, carrying out heating and cooling load calculations, routing and sizing ductwork and piping, laying out central plant mechanical rooms.
- Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Be able to work with a team of designers and draftsmen to produce tender drawings for client.
- Interface with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Be familiar with current equipment and materials associated with the field.
- Be able to work independently with limited supervision after receiving specific guidelines, industry standards, codes and specifications from the client.
- Be able to work on multiple projects within a fast paced environment.
- Interface with clients / contractors / suppliers.
